What little projects are keeping you out of trouble ?
My Father in Law purchased this little trailer in the mid 70's to use around the farm. It has been neglected and sat in the back of the shop for many years. I started working on it a little here and yesterday I had new tires put on it. It will be useful for cutting wood and clearing fence rows.
I need to rewire it for turn signals and break lights, may some paint here and there too..My FIL really liked it and used it hard when he was still alive. It makes me happy to make it useful again..
Here it is… A Montgomery Wards 1971 box trailer.

I'd bet that's handy as a pocket on a shirt.
It will be…. My FIL also made wooden side boards that are about 40" tall to make it easier to keep brush etc on the trailer.. With all the rain this year, I will have a lot of work to do clearing fence rows this fall !!
Very nice and built much stronger than the cheepos they make today, I have a slightly smaller one with smaller flat tires and a arc welder/ generator sitting in it in one of the barns for the last ten years at least, you may have inspired me to get it going again… I have been thinking about doing that for couple of years since I retired.
You probably couldn't even find one of that quality today.
Nice project and history
Good on you for the effort and history. Every time you use it, memories will be added
Over the years, I have acquired a car trailer that's been used to its fulest
A couple of utility trailers and an old trailer my youngest son pulled in one day several years ago. I will get it back in shape to use hauling the grand kids behind our old 9n
Dude, why on earth would you want to be out of trouble? Oh yeah, you are married.
I'm restoring a 100 year old aquarium and feeding turtles.
Post up some after photos when completed
Looking past the trailer, that hay is going to need cutting again soon!
It is looking good…..the bales were removed today….likely cutting again in a few weeks….
