Interesting. Colorado is ranked 48th in safety. But…but….all those gun laws….but…..
At the bottom of the article, there's a good explanation of the metrics they used for their rankings.

Altered?
As long as you don't move to the big cities, Ohio is a pretty good place to hang your hat
Montana is horrible. Spread the word.
The girl who wrote the article looks about 15.
Florida, New York and New Jersey in the top ten.🤣
Come to Illinois if you liked to be totally told what to do by a liberal, condescending pig.
One of the many reasons I left…
I thought it was interesting that Wyoming was so highly rated. I may have to visit Wyoming. It's only a 2 hour drive up I-25 from here.

Michigan's Upper Peninsula is for the hearty. Liberals don't hold up well here.
Who in the world is this girl? I've lived in 6 stated and have extended visits in 6 others so I'm familiar with almost 1/4 of the country. Maybe she works for CNN.
And winter is 2 and one half months longer. Less crime because no one leaves the house 8.75 months per year.
Wyoming unofficial slogan: "Be blown away"
Utah is full. Really.
Missouri is just terrible…. Please tell your friends and family to avoid us at all costs…. Nothing to see here, move on…🙃
Hard to pick someone's pocket when it's -20 outside and you're wearing mittens! 😂

WNC is the last place to move to.
Excessive heat and rain in summer, very cold temps with snow and ice in the winter.
High fire danger in fall and summer due to very dry humidity.
Avoid if al possible.
Oh and lots of hillbilles everywhere. I am proud to be one and wierd to.
Just the mention of "Minnesota Winter" weeds out the undesirables…..
Spread the word in DEMOCRAT cites 😁
Easy for me to determine, Just look at the Red & Blue map.
I knew she was full of crap when she had New Jersey in the top 3! Now, in full disclosure, I've never been there but I've read enough horror stories to know I don't even want to pass through there.
3 of the top 5, I want absolutely nothing to do with.
Eastern nc is a crap hole . Full of skeeters , bugs chiggers and snakes . You don't want to live here. Humidity will kill you. Stay away , far away .
In Missouri right now taking care of my mom I can I like Missouri better than Fl I think I'm going to come back here permanently after I retire in 2 years
Wyoming it the best for sure. But unfortunately, it is being ruined just like Colorado, Texas, Tennessee, and Vermont.
is that the new name for the District of Columbia??????????
Please stay away from Texas……it's terrible here.😉
I moved from there to the state of confusion. It isn't any better but at least I can………
still sing in the shower.
Massachusetts?? Really?
"Independence Now, Independence Forever."
John Adams
I forgot to mention that Ohio has constitutional carry.

I suspect the best state to live in is the one you are happy with the situation from roads to neighbors, family and laws.
We live in Kentucky. Yes the education and heath is a lower levels.
We live in a rural area and love it ! No Big City live here.
We got out of Indiana when crime was soaring and politics was changing for the worse.
But I'm still a Hoosier from the state of basket ball and football.
Idaho is far worse.
Brad Steele
I think they should make D/C a state and let them have the eastern part of Virginia. Central & western Virginia would be better off.
Whereabouts in Missouri are you?
I have couple friends from Massachusetts that have been working here in Missouri and are amazed by the freedoms we have like off-roading in the national forests and driving your pickup right down to the water of our lakes and rivers.
Union Missouri was born and raised in New Haven on a large farm
Looks to be about a 3.5 hour drive. I'm down in Theodosia. I was just up in St. Louis dropping a friend off at the airport Tuesday.
Amen, Brother!! I love VA so much, and all my family has been there since Jamestown. However, when I retire in a couple of years, it will have to be across the WV line. I couldn’t stand to live where the whole state is dominated by a few ultra-liberal counties.
If memory serves me right that is close to Bull Shoals Lake use to do alot of trout fishing in that area especially at roaring river
Just saw this.
The most expensive states to live in
According to the report, these are the top 10 most expensive states to live in.
Yes Sir, Bull Shoals Lake is right down the road.
The best states are any states that (1) Californians do not live in, and (2) Californians are not moving to. The absolute best would be a state that forbids influx from California. I'm a long time Coloradoan and am not living in the horrible mess Californians have made here.
