Being left handed frustrates me......

My buddy who used to make all my holsters moved out of the country about a year ago… Trying to find a decent left hand holster for some models can be difficult. Most of the Ambi Holsters I have tried have issues. I thought I found one that would work recently, but discovered when I sat down, the holster clip would contact the magazine release and pop the magazine….
OK, I'll quite complaining now…. Time to find a good holster maker and pay the extra for the custom work !!
Any other lefties out there found a maker that works for them ?

I am unsure if Ned is still in business, but you may want to give him a shout.

Interesting….. They need to show some old, pudgy codger in the add so I can see how it would work with me
I am left handed but learned to shoot right handed. Mostly because that was how I was taught by a right handed person. Don
Yep, left handed but shoot and carry right hand.
Are you left eye dominate ? I can shoot right hand but am left eye dominate..
No. My left eye is really bad. Had lazy eye and amblyopia (spelling) as kid. Never got much better.
It bothers me that you're a leftie. Can you at least vote with your right? 😁

I am not a southpaw, but I have had good luck with Doc Barranti holsters.
All of you lefty's are in good company! 🙂
I'm also left handed and have a few Kydex holsters from this company.
I have the baseline model for my 2 primary CCW guns - Glock 43X and Ruger LC9s Pro.
There are times where I'd rather use a leather holster though for my Glock 43X and I have a Tagua OWB holster I picked up at a gun shop. I cant find my model on their website. It's similar to the Don Hume JIT holster.
In the summertime with shorts, I primarily carry my Ruger LC9s Pro with an Alabama Front Pocket Holster.
What frustrates me is trying to find left hand bolt action rifles. I dropped a friend off a the St. Louis Airport Tuesday. On the way home I stopped at the Missouri Gun Company in Cabool, MO. The place is packed with bolt actions, new and used. I didn't see a single LH bolt action in there though.
He did have a S&W model 17 22LR in the case for $475. I already have one but it was tempting at that price. It was either refinished or had really worn with a brown patina.
Thank you. Good info
