LPO-50 Flamethrower

RonUSMCRonUSMC Member Posts: 1

Hey knowledgebase professional gun folks,
In Iraq, many moon ago, me and my unit captured a working Russian LPO-50 flamethrower. I sent ALL the paperwork up to the Rgt and Div to get it approved to bring back to the unit trophy case… alas it was denied (over and over). In any case, now there is a place selling demilled LPO-50s in the UK.
So, to my question: how could I transfer one from the UK to the US?
Local gun brokers say "no." When I talk to the UK sellers they say "no." Barring finding one for sale in the US I'm out of answers. Does anyone here know?

Thanks for any and all comments!

1984 3d FAAD Battery, Cherry Point, we tried to order whatever the standard issue flame thrower was while the supply officer was on leave. NCOIC didn't let it slide.

It might not be all that hard to get a dmil LPO-50 from a friend, of a friend, etc who had a friend in the UK.

    Good luck.

I used to recruit for the NRA until they sold us down the river (again!) in Heller v. DC. See my auctions (if any) under username henryreilly
