I was told that my wrinkled face was caused by smiling too much when I was young.
In order to get a better balance of wrinkles, I decided to do some frowning. Reading the news is the best means to achieve this!
Absolutely nothing; I wish I could still do it often. When I was a kid, I saw so much humor in so many things, I'd giggle uncontrollably, like a girl. Maybe I grew up, though I doubt it.😉

It's understandable. Sure seems like there's nothing funny, nothing silly anymore. Comedy is a dead art because some fringe group might get offended and cry on social media
(who cares). America's problems are dire and seem even greater each day. We're watching the possible collapse of the Republic and it's awful.But laughing at these modern, self-manufactured issues, taking the p*ss as the Brits say, deflates the problems, shows them in the light they deserve, and gives an opportunity to feel some joy even it its just for a moment.
I laugh. I also yell. I've noticed there's a fine line there. It's not easy, but if I take just a moment before getting mad, I'll end up laughing.
And when days get really bad, I put on my colander of silliness. It's a lot like my current colander only sillier.

I see so many people, a large percentage, with so much self-inflicted baggage I just about continuously LOL. They have tats from the neck to the ankles for a billboard sign, nose rings I suppose to keep them from rutting in the dirt, a tongue ring to make it flop more and bust their teeth, earrings from the lobe to the top for decor like a Christmas tree and eat up with self-made problems. What else can you do but laugh and around here we are talking a big percentage.

Surely, she would know better than that! I would shut off the college fund that day.
I seem to find humor when and where I look for it. It may sound flippant, but I don't mean it that way.
I have had some of my best laughs when things were at their worst. Kind of a "what the heck else could go wrong".
