She's in Heaven's Fields
Starved rescue to beloved friend, we are thinking she was in her 30's. Dad found her peacefully gone on the lane this morning π

Sorry for your loss, pets are truly one of God's greatest gift to us
Oh I'm sorry, Rae
that hole in the ground always leaves hole in your heart, I have a north fence line full of equine memories.
Hate to hear of the loss of your friend, but it is a certainty of owning them.
Do you snip a chunk of foretop or tail as a keepsake?

Sorry for your lossβ¦. Her life was changed for the better when she came under your care !
Without horses, humans would have never progressed.
A toast to Little Red.

So sorry for your loss
Your family gave her a good life it's hard to say goodbye to a long time buddy
, find some comfort knowing she was well loved And I am sure she apricaed all you done for her and love you gave
My first true GF had a horse, almost 50 years now gone by it was my only time in life around horses, was with her and her friends Who also owned and rode horses
Even though I know it had to be years after we split up, I still feel sad for her loss
I know it had to have been a truly sad day when Poko King, her horses name( he was registered quarter horse) . passed on I knew the bond they had formed Even back then was very close
Sorry for your loss Lady Rae
Beloved pets fill our hearts to bursting, leaving pawprints on our souls.
Thank you all so very much. Tom is coming this morning to bury her....
It's hard when you take an older rescue you never know how long you will have them. She came when I needed her and she needed me.
My friends saw a Facebook post that said Please Save these horses!!!! Little Red's lady had died and her husband had forgotten about her and her pasture mate. I will never know her real name. Mike called her Little Red, so Little Red she was. Funny our whole family is really grieving. She had gotten so old since that picture was taken a couple of years ago. The last time we rode it the rodeo parade my new jeans went missing. We finally found them in the funniest place.... So I had to ride in my old jeans but my mom carefully placed my Grampa's casket flag over my lap. Long live Little Red β₯οΈ πΊπΈ

Iβm sorry to hear about her passing. 30 years old for a horse is a long life. Iβm sure she is grazing in that field and content and happy. Again Iβm sorry.
Absolutely true. Sorry for your loss, Rae.
