I have a Smith & Wesson model 22-4, serial number DCM3721. Anyone know what year it was manufactured of assembled?

sorry, the article was on the later version.
I thought S&W discontinued the Model 22 after 22-2 in 1966
I think the 22-4 was in the Classic series and I believe they were made between 2006 and 2010. That's as close as I can get, maybe someone can narrow it down a bit for you. I do like 45ACP revolvers and have a 25-2 in the safe that is long overdue for some range time. Bob
@BobJudy I believe you maybe right, account of the pistol has the locking system S&W started putting on their firearms. Not sure what year they started putting their internal locks that require a special key to lock or unlock the action. But the time line seems right, as I bought this gun in 2010, no box or papers came with it. Not sure if maybe I was to contact S&W if they would give out that information. Again thanks for your input.
👍 Good luck! I was hoping someone on here had the book, The Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson, and could look it up for you. I see on Amazon that the new edition comes out in December but if you can find the last edition, it should have the serial number tables/charts for your 22-4. Bob
