Anyone have any knowledge about the HK P7-M8

I was out on the scrounge recently and came across a couple of NIW magazines. They were believed to be at least 20 years old and were stuffed away in a file drawer along with several other mags for other firearms. I am trying to date them if possible. The Mags only have the writing showed in the pics below. The package has an HK parts number I assume. I tried other sites but were unable to determine age. I figure given the pricy value of a decent pistol for this magazine, knowing what 'generation' these belong too will help determine a realistic value…. Any help is appreciated.

The only way I know to date anything they make is by a date code….it should be a couple letters stamped on them somewhere
If there is a square hole on the backside at the bottom, they fit the older P7. Later P7's had the mag release near the trigger guard.
No other letters or any markings on the magazines….
No Square hole….
Thank you for the suggestions…
They are newer mags, the first P7s did not have "M8" on them.
Yupp… They figured the Americans didn't like the mag release at the bottom of the grip, so they made a model for sale here that had the thumb mag release we prefer. That is when it got the P7M8 name. I think that was in the mid 80's and continued until the p7 series was dropped. Those mags should fit any of the P7M8's made. Bob
I'd guess $100ish a piece. They fit exactly what they say, a P7 M8.
There was an early version called a P7 PSP that has the mag catch on the heel.
The M8 had the mag release on the trigger guard.
There was also a M13 but it is a double stack.
I wish they fit the PSP, because I would buy em for mine.
Thanks all for the information. The P7M8 is an interesting firearm. I fired one 30 plus years ago and was intrigued by the design. Another of those guns I should have bought when it was offered to me !!!
Once again, thank you for your knowledge and sharing it….
$61 back 20+ years ago? I'd imagine double that price at least. New Old Stock might even get two bills. Nice find.
yeh those are worth a good bit, they are not that easy to find and , brand new!, they should make an owner of one of these, now very expensive guns, very happy.
I learned something. Thanks.
Yep, me too.
