Not a big KelTec fan but looking at that almost changes my mind. Now that Fiocchi is marketing 5.7 ammo it has gotten cheaper in the last few years, so what are you waiting for?
I was still working the gun counter and shot a customers FN fiveseven and it was a hoot! In the lighting of our indoor range it did make a bit of a ball of fire but very little recoil and accurate as all get out. So at the risk of sounding redundant - what are you waiting for!😃 Bob
I've got one of the 2nd Gen Sub-2000's in 40 that shares magazines with 3 of my Glocks and I love it. It did have some issues when I first got it but a gentle chamber polish cured it. It is amazing to me how much more velocity a 40 develops out of a 16" barrel than out of a standard pistol length. It's handy to fold it up and throw it in a bag to go on the boat or around the 'ranch' on the four wheeler. I think with the hype of the 5.7 cartridge they're gonna sell a bunch of 'em.
I wanted the FN P90 but being in California 10 round magazine that holds 50 is silly. Like me seeing a Tommy Gun with a drum that only held 10 rounds in the local was hilariously sad.
I had one in .40 and I regret selling it.
I'd buy one of the 5.7s but they are more scarce than hen's teeth, seems no one has one in stock.
I like the platform… It is not left hand friendly at least for me. Even with a shield, it still blew gasses and some grit in my face…
I bet one in 5.7 would be a great little shooter !
