Our apple crop isn't too good this year... But I'd like your recipe.

Looks good
We had several apple trees we planted 30 years ago but down to just one not sure what variety any more it's a tart tasking variety it's loaded down with 20x ( great year for them ) what we will use the wife has been making apple every thing LOL
we will freeze some of course after sealing in vacuum bags we gave up canning some years back
Also Still have two pear trees one ripe fast the other late late fall
the other fruit tres we had died off over the years
Buts it great to have your own trees grandson loves apples and picked his :wagon" full a few days ago
A lost art, not many people can anymore. But we do! Speaking of apples, J. makes a delicious apple/elderberry pie that has won a few ribbons at the fair over the years. Her gooseberry jam is another winner, but boy are they hard to pick and process with all those spines.
Pass me a spoon with a tub of vanilla ice cream and hold the crust.
Apple crisp comes to mind.
Nice looking butcher block table.
My Wife just made a batch of apple crisp
It did not last very long,
Apple dumplings and apple pie for the weekend plans
You're spoiled. Sounds great.
Oh yeah, any of the ways described above.
My wife is truly special in more ways than i could list
Have to say Thank goodness she has a soft spot for stray animals and her husband
No one else would have ever put up with me
Best apple pie I ever ate was blackberry pie.
wooo
Nay sir.........as the best pie is cherry(real fresh cherries)pie.😋
In a pinch........peach cobbler will do.😉
I tend to really like Dutch Apple Pie. It is like eating apple crisp with a crust under it! 😛
Yes! The best.
Most of the year (starting about now) I eat an apple every day, along with a bit of sharp cheddar cheese. Great combo and healthy as well. I only skip July and August because last year's apples aren't very good then.
I keep apples around all the time . It is my go- to snack.Love winesaps but they are hard to find . Hard to beat the taste of the old mainstay a "red delicious. " (eating one as I type)
