This is my view this morning. Trolling for kokanee and trout on Little Bitteroot lake.

looks like a fine morning, any lake trout in little bitterroot?

Not that we've seen. The Montana DFWP says there's no bass here and we've been catching lots of 14 to 16 inch smallies so who knows! We were on Flathead near Lakeside yesterday and landed a bunch of 18 to 20 inch lakers. Perfect eatin' size.
You back from the great soon to be white north?
Making of a great day.
I'm looking at your post and thus I am jealous… Have a good time fishing!
yup, rotate back on 17th, saw a few errant flakes in mid August, then it warmed. Currently Mid 30’s low 40’s now, but the switch will throw soon.
Hope you get more lake days like this before you also turn white.
Are the Tamarack turning yellow yet?

Been a while since we've had a troll.
Ummm, it is a boat on a lake…. geez. 🙃
Looks like someplace I wish I was right now !!
I must disagree, Austin. There are enough idiots out there on the water already. If everyone had a boat there'd just be that many more ! There would be carnage!!!
Not to mention the two things you hear often from boat owners…
-The happiest two days for a boat owner are the day he takes it home and the day he sells it !!! …
-BOAT means BUST OUT ANOTHER THOUSAND whenever it needs a repair !!
Have heard that from many boat owners. ^^^
BOAT: a hole in the water that you throw money into.
.
I have to agree with @austin20 about how a day out on the water brings a kind of peaceful tranquility to my aging bones.
When I get to shore, I always feel so mellow that a good nap is in order!
If the truck and boat were both empty it'd be about $250. Youch! Luckily, a tank of gas for the boat (40 gallons) will last us almost 2 seasons. We normally only put in about 20 gallons before winter along with an appropriate dose of Stabil. We use the gas motor (Suzuki DF 140) to get from the dock to where we plan to fish and then drop the Minn Kota in the water to either troll or to use the 'spot lock' which holds you in one spot. It's a lot easier than trying to work off of an anchor in 100+ feet of water.
It sure beats sittin' in the easy chair and starin' at the TV! We boated 24 fish yesterday, 1 lil' perch, 2 decent smallmouth bass, and 21 kokanee. We kept two of the kok's for dinner one night this week.
BOAT= Bust Out Another Thousand
Meanwhile, the south end of the Bitterroot River looks like an assembly line at a raft factory.
Enjoying life and what you have worked hard for has no price if you enjoy it go for it
My weakness is old cars and guns if i could swim then boats maybe have been on the list LOL I do enjoy the feeling of a boat ride
Nice photo of a relaxing day tha KS for sharing
We only get one shot at this life make the best and enjoy all you can
I will admit, happy day you bring it home and happy day when you sell it. But the memories and good times in between are priceless and worth it. Wish I was there. Now a new goal of mine is, get chummy with NeoBlackdog and go out fishing. Lol
Come on up!
Great picture, Neo.
Hey..........I was gonna call dibs!😇🙄
You boys are gonna have to work out a schedule!
Are guns for the boat furnished, or is it bring your own?
How many previous 'accidents ' has this boat been involved in?
Strictly BYOG. As for accidents, I have know idea what you're talking about…
