Did Smith and Wesson make a 22 revolver with a 9" barrel? If so, which model and about what year? I think they made a K22 in 8", but not 9. Thank you.

I checked the 2 books that were handy and the closest I can come is the Model 17, (K22), with an 8 3/8". When I get the chance, I'll dig out another book or 2 and see if I can find anything. Bob
Model 63, largest I have seen is 6".
As Bob pointed out- 8.3/8" pretty sure never a 9"/
No. The longest .22 revolver barrel was 8 3/8". The single shot .22 target pistols such as the Straightline and Perfected Model could be equipped with 10" barrels, the longest .22 barrels S&W ever made.
Model 617 has a 8 3/8 inch barrel. Was in stanless. Which could have been measured at 9 inches.
