Shot a few different pistols. I had the chance to fire a S&W M&W 5.7. It has a better trigger than the Ruger 57 IMHO. Might have to get my hands on one of these. !! First five rounds of Federal AE 40gr FMJ. 15 yards, Holosun 507K red dot sight…
Anyone else hitting the range this week ?

Always good to know that you still have it to shoot straight. Add some yeas and lack of practice the groups open up considerably.
I have the Ruger 57, so I am giving it a 65 Dick, it has a beat, but I don't think I can dance to it.*
*for the under 60's here, if any, the reference is to Dick Clark's American Bandstand.
Took my 45 to the range, new front sight was on target nothing great. The ruger mk2 was its usual accurate self.
I did.
Grabbed the 9" AR-22 'pistol' from it's hidey hole under the workbench, double timed the 30 yards to yard gate while switching on the dot optic and chambering a sub-sonic HP round, grabbed the yard gate post for a hasty field support, and sent ONE ROUND downrange. Total elapsed time about 30 seconds.
PFFTTT (wait for it) CLANK on the 8" gong 100 meters away.
Patted myself on the shoulder, unloaded the chamber, and put the little darling back in it's sleeping bag. Best simulation of a 'what if' scenario I can find. First round head shot @ 100 meters with zero preparation-what more could one ask?
Yep. I got it 😉
