My cabin on Big Stoney Creek. We've had it for sale and have a buyer but haven't closed, yet.
Fortunately, the creek didn't get up to the cabin. The water was so swift, you could hear big boulders smashing together.
Close one for you, and sad for some of the others (including the Bass). On the bright side, I did see a Marine Corps flag flying on the garage, so I’m confident that guy will be okay.
What a mess. Glad you are safe and didn't damaged.
Wow, that's beyond bad. Prayers for all you folks.
Dang! That's a lot of water! Hope y'all can get things dried out.
I can't imagine
Trying to cope with it all
Around us here in ohio about 40k were with out power laskcheck it was about 7k
And sad as it is and all the complaing .having your power out is nothing like loosing everything, and cutoff from any supplys not counting friends and family lost to the storm
Prayers to all
I did see ohio is sending some national guard and helicopters to help
God speed to all the rescue and releaf efforts
WOW! That is a LOT of water.
Fast moving water is so scary sounding to me. I guess its because I'm such a weak swimmer…..I just know deep down if I fell in that would be "it" for me.
Amazing how wide of destruction the hurricane caused.
