    I haven’t been yet.
    My county has a no doe til November rule so I’m in no big hurry yet.
    I plan on trimming one stand tonight.
    I have to wait til the crops get out to work on my other stands.

    weather was entirely too warm in early September to head to the backcountry that I hunt, it would have been an all night affair to get a bull out and hanging in cooler before it started to sour.

    Later in the year, I might try to harpoon with our crossbow, one of the whitetails that have been grazing in my alfalfa all year.

    My brother Chuck took this little buck with his crossbow this past week. The weather being on the warm side meant he had to get right to work processing the meat. The picture of just the head was an afterthought, but he took it to entice me to start thinking about our upcoming rifle season. I've taken the last couple years off due to issues with my hands.

    Heck!! This may just be the fire I need lit under my sitting butt to get out there!! 🙂

    Try posting the pictures to your FB, then do a C&P of the picture here. That's what I do when a picture won't upload from my puter. Hope this helps.
