A little more fishing yesterday evening.....

I headed up to a nearby conservation area and sighted in a couple rifles before settling in for a little fishing. Caught 11 small bass and a couple crappies during my time there. It was a cool evening but I pretty much had the lake to myself.

A nice young gentleman rolled down to the back area where I was and asked where the best places were to fish as he had not been on this lake before. He had a kayak with him so I directed him to some places nearby and he launched and was off. I took a few pics of him after he was out and fishing.

I smiled as I left. He reminded me of me when I was a young man. He was a college student in the area and had finished classes for the day. Instead of hitting the bars or whatever else, he came out and fished….. I used to do the same thing.. Good to see a young man enjoying the outdoors…….
