I'm done for winter.......

mowed the yard last night and when I finished up I turned the gas off the rinding mower and let her run till she stalled. Then I dumped the gas out of the weed eater and did the same, and the same with the leaf blower. I run all my outdoor equipment dry for the winter after adding a little stayebill to the gas. I have done this for the last few years since they started adding alcohol to the gas, and it seems to make it a lot easier to start the same equipment in the spring, it may take a few more pulls to get the gas flowing but usually everything runs a lot smoother after they get started in spring……..

I have at least another month to go.
I'm dreading it.... The horse blankets are washed and ready. We will have to have more wood delivered. And we are waiting for curtain rings for the new kitchen curtains. We have large pained windows…

Good maintenance on the equipment.
I use 91 alcohol free and don't worry about it. There is still gas in the bowl of that carb. I have drained them after running them out.
Still got the backyard to do one more time, but pretty sure that'll be it. I too run all the equipment dry for the winter. Got the sprinklers scheduled to be blown out next week.
Wish I could say the same. I just bought another 10 gallons of gas for the mower. One more mowing and then I switch the deck over to the cyclone rake for the leaves. Some years, I'm still riding that combo up until mid November. Bob
I work on many small engines.Number one cause I see for problems is neglect number two cause is leaving ethanol gas in the off season. I use non ethanol with fuel stabilizer every fill up in my equipment.
That's exactly what my small engine mechanic told me to do. I follow his advice, and don't see him very often now.
Wow, that's a long season.
