Mike, Numrich lists parts for the Model 50 and 50E. I have the first version with the open bolt, no extractor, made for Sears as the Ranger Model 34A. Marlin changed things on them every 2-3 years. One of the only Marlins that nobody makes a replacement magazine for! I've been looking for10yrs now, saw one on an auction, gave up after it passed $400.

Can you post a pic of yours?

as you can see, it is missing several parts.

Yeah, that's the later closed bolt A-1, that's the oldest version they make a clip for. There's parts from the older 50 & 50E that work, call Numrich's customer service and ask them. Not sure if the A-1 used it, but they had two different weights in the recoil system, one for Standard Velocity, and one for High Velocity.

PM a link with a parts diagram, the Marlin Forums has a couple of guys that collect these, I got a lot of good info from them.

as shown, this one is pretty rough. I do have a parts diagram from Brownell's big parts book.
