well Milton was a bas<(&*%$#d
over 3 millón customers without electricity , over 120 tornado alerts, a bunch of confirmed tornados, a ton of destruction across the width of the central peninsula, Tampa bay rays baseball stadium was to house a couple of thousand rescue and workers to help restore power and infrastructure… well the entire roof was torn off and is shreds, a manufactured/mobile home park of 100 plus residences is just gone, could go on but its too much to list, yes I do think this is the once in a century disaster caused by Mother Nature this one is going to take a long time to get back to what it was. I have not yet heard a hard number for casualties , My family members here in CENTRAL FLORIDA are all safe and seemed to dodged the bullet, but untold thousands have not.

That is so heartbreaking.
Glad all your family are safe.
Down the road from my brothers place in Brandon.
Good gosh.
We got back today. Our part of Brandon got thrashed! I’m not sure I recall this much tree damage even from KATRINA. Looks like a bunch of bombs went off. Very directional wind, with most trees falling southward. Our house has no damage somehow, other than a few holes in the pool screen. The vinyl fence is spread all over, though, and an enormous pine fell from our yard into the neighbors house. 6 other trees are partially uprooted and may have to go. About a foot deep layer of Spanish moss and leaves over everything.
Quite a mess, but we were fortunate compared to many.
My heart is just broken Every time I see what has happened with Helene and Milton

democRATS will be chanting Bush's fault. Looking for the old donkey show with biden confused wondering around the aftermath. Unless harris will be doing what the "current" president should be doing and not kicking back drinking Mai Thais.
