I got to thinking. Dangerous, I know. Anyway, I would like to do something for the folks in NC that are recovering from 🌀 Helene.
Not sure if I would trust many agencies to spend all my money wisely. So, I have a question for @allen griggs . If I were to send funds to you, would you be able to ensure that all of it was used to assist those in need?
I'm sure there are folks in your area that can use a little assistance. I fear that any funds I would send through any agency would be sit between "administration costs" and those in need. I would like to see every penny given/used by those in need.
Anyone else feel the same way?

I am not Allen but first choice should be Samaritan's Purse out of Boone NC.
Second to none.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Totally agree!! Billy Grahams son has done himself proud with Samaritan's Purse!!
I'm in flatland NC ,but I agree,Samaritan purse for the win. Alternate would be the volunteer helicopter fights. Just not sure of their name .
That's very kind of you Susie. I agree with the guys, Samaratain's Purse is doing a good job, I see their trucks all over the place, send them money. Nix to Red Cross.
Thank you. Being in the middle of the USA, I wasn't sure who was actually doing the work. It's great to have solid Intel. I'll let everyone at church know this morning.
From what I'm seeing Samaritan's purse is taking care of everything.... And the every day Americans ❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Another good one is God's Pit Crew out of Danville, Va. They help by sending tractor trailer loads of supplies to those who need it.
Cajun Navy 1016 is good, too. There are knockoffs out there, but the 2016 bunch are for sure helping. They have/had an Amazon wish list that I used along with Samaritan's purse where I donated. I have a cousin (retired pastor) who lives there. He led me to the right ones to give to.
Have heard many good things about Samaritan purse.
