The years have taken their toll….….since I first met my wife almost 47 years ago, on a racquetball court at our YMCA. Seems like yesterday.......

I have had lower back problems for 12 years but just take low dose pain meds that mask 95% of the pain most days some days nor even close

Howevwr I had to many surgeons suggest put off back surgery as long as possible due to the odds .

But they have come a long way in such procedures

She entered post-op recovery about 30 minutes ago. Although the operation (lower back) took a little longer.........all went well.

Thanks so much for the prayers........they WORK!!

I'll report back later today, after I've had a chance to visit with her.

Not sure what type back surgery, but they ALL require time to heal. Make sure she follows doctor's orders and takes it easy until fully helaed. My experience, day 3 is the worst. First couple weeks are bad. Gets better after about 4 weeks. Then, if you are careful, just gets better from there!

Prayers for her successful surgery and a speedy recovery.

I've had two back surgeries and the success has a lot to do with following the Doctors post surgery instructions to a tee. She will feel better and want to start doing things (probably too soon), try to keep her from it if you can.

Well......yesterday was a long day......but she's resting/sleeping comfortably. The nurses had her up once, to shuffle around the room a bit. Then......back to sleep. The doctor might let her out today.….but more probably Thursday.
