That bluing is perfect.
Joe.......
Nice pistol....…but I'll stick with my old NM's and Gold Cup's.😎
Wow nearly $7K!!! How much of that is the gun and Turnbull's talent/labor?
Turnbull Corp. did a lot of work and it looks perfect to me. The rate they charged seems very reasonable.
She's a beaut, that's for sure!
Only way to describe this restoration is: magnificent.
7K? Gonna be keeping my trusty Ruger 1911.
My 1911 RIA goes bang every time so I think I will just hold on to it, but that is purty.
Too pretty for an old Fud like me to own !
You are not kidding. Flawless!
What happened to reblued lost all collector value? If restored is better than original I'm confused.
My dad left me a 1911 U.S. Navy stamped. He worked in the shipyard during wwII. He never said, but I figured he got it from a sailor. It was stolen when my house got burglarized in 1982.
Homeowners insurance paid $200.
I would give 20 times that to get it back.
That hurts. I'd be so mad, and sad.
