Rossi R92 .45 Colt
I’ve been considering getting a Rossi R92 in .45 Colt to pair with my Taurus Judge. I’m looking at the wood/stainless combo. I’m just not sure if I want the 16” or 20” barrel. This will be mainly used for plinking at the range, which has me leaning towards the 20” and the 2 extra rounds. However, I could definitely see myself toting it along in heavy brush areas during WI gun-deer season. That 4” would make it a bit handier and it still holds 8 rounds. Decisions decisions…..
Anyone own one and are you happy with the barrel length you have, or do you wish you went a different route….both on barrel length or the gun itself even?
It also looks like they are currently doing a rebate where you get a free Rough Rider revolver. That’s pretty neat.

I have one in 357 to go with my security six, a 16 inch good 50 yard gun.
I have older 20" Rossi's in 357 and 44. Both work well. There was a 9 pointer that agrees with Tflogger.
The 20 inch 10 shot is handy if you every want to try shooting cowboy action.
My 20 inch 357 mag Rossi 92 is light and handy.
Mine is an older one that I bought used at a gun show in 2002 for $175: It's a 20". I always wondered what they used for stock wood. It has kind of a dark muddy color with a flat oil type finish. I haven't used it for much; sometimes it rides in the saddle boot on the horse. It looks just right there!
