Corn is a
vegetable, err.. I mean fruit, or is it a grain? I don't care, I like it. Some may remember me lamenting (whining) last month about missing our charity shoot, but also crediting Judy and our volunteers with taking in a record amount. One thing I missed out on was getting any of the kettle corn that one of our members, SW0320, sent for our shooters to enjoy. Like a proverbial herd of locusts they devoured every single solitary bag, leaving none for little ol' me! Today the UPS guy dropped off this:
and I ain't sharing this time! Well, maybe Judy might get a couple of kernels, but that's it! Gonna be the bestest Halloween pig-out ever! Corn, caramelized sugar, a little salt and a bit of magic in the preparation and it's all, well mostly, mine! Thanks again Greg and Marie, I won't let it go to waste! Bob

How cool is that?? Well done!!!
Good job, @SW0320 !
Thanks Neo, I forgot that pesky little @ sign! The tantalizing fragrant bouquet coming off these bags of corn must have distracted me.😁 Bob
I swore off popcorn after cracking two teeth on hidden unpopped kernels. When the yen overpowers me I buy a bag of it. The best bagged stuff I've found is Chicka Boom.
It's a grass.
Yeah, but I used the term grain because I didn't want to say Greg and Marie sent me couple bags of grass. Some may have gotten the wrong impression!😁 Bob
Like they could share?
You should try ours, it is all hand popped and we use a sifting table that has large holes in the full bottom of the table so when sifted any unpopped seeds go into a bin below the table.
The sifted uppopped seeds and broken kernels are put out by the woods for the animals to eat.
My wife has pictures of the deer eating the corn with the salt on it and they are licking their lips.
The size we sent you we call the sharing size at the fair.
However we tell everyone that we don’t have an enforcement division.
We sell a bag larger than that one we call the family size. However many people who buy the bag say they are a family of one ie no sharing.
Even if there are 14 in that family of one. That's good popcorn for you.
Love corn, and popcorn
And grass...
best drank from a Mason jar…..
