Shuffleboard
Well part of the journey of living in Pennsylvania is having a basement. I have a nice long open wall perfect for a shuffleboard table.
I did some research and settled on a 12-14ft length with the logic being much longer than that and it will be too hard for the kids to play.
Our town has apparently one store that sells pool tables and the like. My eyes about popped out of my head when the guy told me a shuffleboard starts around 5K and goes up from there.
It’s kind of a chicken & egg scenario.
If I don’t buy one Ill never know if it’s great family fun, but worse, what if I do buy one and it never gets used?
We’re about to have many cold days and nights ahead of us and I’d like some non-electronics related activities. I have already ordered a goose ball table and an air hockey table.
What say you on shuffleboard? It’s a big ticket item!!!

I spent a night or two or three many moons ago on a table shuffleboard league at a local watering hole. It was fun and the adult beverages made it even more so. Check Amazon for table prices. I see they have some decent looking butcher block top ones for a lot less than 5K. I would probably go with a 12 footer. Bob
As they say, 'you only live once'. If you can afford it, do it!
Some moons ago I played at the local tap where we had a group of guys and we challenged each other for drinks and cash. I don't have the room but IF I did I would have a 14 footer. They can become addictive and you can kill many hours on a cold winters night.
FOMO
Maybe try looking for a used one on Marketplace…or the bay has some for under 3k
Get it, it'll be fun
I like ping pong. 🙂
