Getting concerned....NO Martha for the last 5 days.... UPDATED !!!! she is home
UPDATE…….
Guess who showed up tonight about an hour after sundown !!! She ran up and rubbed on my leg and ran around the porch…. she practically jumped into my Bride's arms and just purred away. She rubbed her head against mine and looked real happy to be back. She acts and looks just fine.. After playing with her and scratching her back for a while, she ate most of her food and was out cold in her little shelter in the garage………. We will all sleep better tonight !!!
Thanks again all for your concern and kind words…… It is hard to mad at a face like this !!!

Good old Martha is out on a toot again.. Or maybe she went to fat camp…
We were gone over the weekend, but our son stayed at the house. He last saw her on Saturday morning. We got back home late Monday. I put out food for her every night and on Tuesday evening I put out a game camera on the front porch.. The weather has been weird all this week. 30 to 40 MPH winds the last three days and rain last night….
She did show up on the game camera in the middle of the night Tuesday…but nothing since.. She does this every once in a while but I do worry about her with all the yotes running around out there…
Hopefully she shows up soon..

Oh no. Hoping the best.
The perils of letting them out. Coyotes are a serious threat, but she has me 100% on her side. Yours too. Cross fingers, put a light in the window and hope for the best. A wee dram of Irish couldn't hurt.
Best of luck
We have had cats in the past we thought g t had wondered off or got eaten only to show up sometimes Two weeks later skiny and home sick
Flip side we have had strays and bwsic feral cats wonder in and stay a stray wondered in a couple weeks back took up home stealing with our other we cats hemay have wondered off of got dumped out as we live just in the country close to a smaĺ town and not uncomom for us
She's gone walkabout.
Those crazy cats. A doggie would never do you this way. I bet she'll be back.
Doggoneit, my heart just sinks every time you post that she is gone. She's the darling of the forum and I don't want anything to happen to her.
Hopefully she will show again soon. It's agonizing waiting and worrying about a pet that has gone astray.
Prayers for a safe return. Max and Shadow go in and out throughout the day and would live to tomcat around until after closing time.
I've spent many nights standing on the steps calling cats at 1am. I know that's prime frogging time, but it's also coyote time.
Let's hope she's just out doing g some late night frogging and mousing.
Hopefully she will return as before.
I had a Bengal that would disappear. I always thought she would slip into an out building behind a neighbor, then get locked in when he left.
Remember that taco spelled backwards is o…cat!
Not on the game camera last night… The neighbors are aware of her missing status. We took a ride in the Gator around the back areas of our land and also checked the barns and sheds at the neighbor's properties within half a mile or so of our place.
I wish I had a tracker on her, just to see where she goes when she takes one of these little trips…. Thanks for all the comments and concern.
We took "Murder" to the vet to see about getting her fixed….she was MAD and stayed away for a few days. It drives you crazy with worry. I hope your fur-baby comes home soon.
Probably just getting her ashes hauled!
Martha is home…. See above !
Great !!
Glad to hear that Martha is safely home 🏡 these cats cause us to much trouble 😵💫

Yayyyy
Woohoo!!!
Great news
I know we have many times just about gave up and the cat would show up and all would be happy
No need to say it but any way I'm so glad she is back with you
Give her some salmon /fish flavor cat food (it's our cats favorite flavor ) for coming home
She just needed a vacation.
Glad the little stinker made it home!
I told you she would be back. A fickle BEAST.
Glad to hear she is back. Apparently she likes to take a little stroll sometimes
My demented Beagle will run off in the woods for an hour, howling like a Banshee. I would love to get a doggie cam mounted on her head, to see and hear what the hound is after. A deer, or perhaps a Bigfoot.
They do make dog cams. I wonder if they make a cat cam. A cat probably wouldn't stand for it.
We have considered doing this but are concerned a collar will be a hinderance going through brush, fences etc. Also concerned it tell the other critters where she is also.
Glad for her return Frank, I had one that would do this once in awhile, Drives ya crazy wondering while they are gone.
maybe she just doesn't like your son………
I agree, no reason to ring the dinner bell for the predators.
Thanks I did not sleep for 5 days
So glad to hear of her safe return. I know to well the feeling when they don't return.
She wasn't missing. She just didn't tell you when she'd be back.
dogs are truly a gift ro us and they think we're their world and are happy to allow us control
Flip side Cats think they own us and think we should be thankful they aknolage us
All our cats are glad Martha is back home after her walkabout
thousands of years ago, the people of Egypt worshipped them as gods. They[the cats] have not forgotten this and still demand fealty
That's true. Egyptians regarded cats as deities. Many hundreds of mummified cats have been found in various tombs in Egypt.
