V A disability came thru

hoosierhoosier Member Posts: 1,594 ✭✭✭✭

After testing and appointments and going thru my VA medical record with My VFW VSO.

I'm in for 60%.. on both Knees

Can't take anything for hearing as there is nothing in my medical records about hearing problems and my out take hearing was good (40 Years ago). New test show definite loss but can't be used.

Did get 10% for Tinnitus . but can't be added to the total. (?)

With 60% I no longer have to meet any requirements for income. So I'm off to the VA Tuesday for an appointment and getting set up for Primary care and medication in Bowling Green KY .

Wife is retiring next rear so this will help with a Plan for Medicare.

Went last week and looked my Bank account and there was a Large deposit from VA ! Back from May till October!

I'm told I can claim Sleep apnea (started right after I got out of service). Not sure if I want to push that.
