What authority would they have? Treasonous
DEMOCRATs are free to dream all they want but there will never be a shadow government. They dont have the power period dot dot. With the stroke of a pen the GOP trifecta will cut off the government mammary gland that keeps them alive.
If there will be any rebellion at all, rebellion will be blue state voters against their own tyrannical governors.
There has been a shadow govt for years! Who do you think is running things right now? Certainly not Biden nor Harris.
Just sayin'
Obama didn't win a fourth term. Should be very interesting. The we hate Trump campaign has been going on since 2015. Four years of revenge could be sweet.
One has to remember, this is not the democrat party are mom and dads knew, these are Marxist, (Communist).
Governors have the power to resist a Federal Police State. While I probably would disagree with the causes of these leftist buffoons, I like the precedent being set and believe that the right can and should learn from this.

II agree Don, but it is fine line. If the states are defending states rights and laws then the resistance has merit. If they are resisting Federal statutes like those pertaining to immigration, then they are setting a dangerous course. Bob
For once I agree with Don. I've read that federal troops were considered to "repatriate" illegals. This is wrong, IMHO.
The 16th Amendment established a personal financial relationship between citizens and the Federal Government. This was not an unintended consequence of the Income Tax. Now, if a state resists Federal actions, the Feds can withhold monies without endangering a revenue stream. We have seen this with drinking ages, speed limits, etc.
A sanctuary State can refuse to help and even hinder ICE or the ATF at the risk of funding from DC. That state’s citizens, however, will continue to fund their oppressors.
