Nessie is unquestionably taking a dim view after being "fixed" and having to wear the cone. She is from a litter that my Texas daughter teamed with a neighbor to rescue - then decided she would make a good stock dog for the mini-ranch. DNA tests showed German Shepard, Great Pyrenees, and "undetermined". The vet thinks the "undetermined" is black mouthed cur which abounds in Texas, but is not represented in the DNA test. She's already showing promise protecting some of the animals and the place in general.

Yeah, she looks PO alright.
That is one unhappy mutt.
The cone of shame, poor girl.
Aww, she's cute though
Maybe the undetermined is "sneaky neighbor's dog."
She looks like she is planning her vengeance after the cone comes off 😉
we had a weiner dog that figured out how to remove that cone in about 20 minutes after getting home. He figured he just had to back up into a narrow space and he could pop it off after he figured that out about 5 minutes was about the tops we could keep it on
You would look a little PO if you were fixed too. 😃
All of my dogs hated those cones with a passion! Just now, I came up with an idea. A solid contour shaped piece of something (maybe plastic) under the dogs belly strapped on with Velcro. Keeping the dog from reaching his backside. A cut away portion in the proper area for a male so he can relieve himself. Hmmmmm….
Anyway, your Nessie, after doing her "cone time" will soon forget everything except for that nasty 3 letter word VET!! 😁
