Thanksgiving Tradition Must Be Observed.

Got my two "Turkey" Hungry Man now with all "white meat". Since I was already watching "Jack Ryan" getting "The Hunt For Red October" will be a nice parallel. I wonder if it will be better in blu ray? You know since it's mostly in dimly lit scenes. Anyways I've been doing the turkey tv dinner and The Hunt since '96/'97 (mostly). There was a few years I made real turkey (mostly the last few years) but it's back to the origins (minus the VHS in the beginning).

I may watch "Dutch" since I just came across it and it's a Thanksgiving movie.

So what do you guys do while the bird cooks and waiting for people.

Lions and Bears turkey day game is on. Can the Lions win and have their best record 11-1 ever?. Looks like it so far. Bob

Well, both teams looked a little sloppy but the Lions pulled it off. I really thought Chicago was going to at least tie it up but they made some costly mistakes in the last minute and gave the game away. I hope the Lions get back to the level they have been at or they aren't going to go much further. Almost losing to a 4-7 team doesn't build confidence.

Oh well.... It's turkey time and I'm starved!

I enjoy watching "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" on Thanksgiving Day.

I can remember eating Banquet Turkey TV dinners when I was a kid. The trays were foil back then and the stuffing covered in gravy was hidden under the slices of turkey. They were not eaten on Thanksgiving Day however but were not too bad for an easy meal for my busy mom.

Horse Plains Drifter - Yeah but I'm dying anyways. Besides at the rate of things breaking down would I wanna be "living" all janky?

BobJudy - Lions are famous for getting close and they just go bust. My team. Why because they're usually out early so I don't have to make talks or if they have a banner year I can always say "watch them fail".

Brookwood - "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" yeah the other, other Thanksgiving movie. Again I skipped "Pieces Of April". I wonder what other movies has Thanksgiving? I know they even made a pilgrim horror movies not too long ago. Didn't know "Rocky 1 & 2" movies took place during Thanksgiving (not that I watched these in decades).

We're all dying, it begins the instant we are born. But it up to us to enjoy life until that time comes. Every day is a good day and iffin it ain't, it's yer own damn fault. I'm doin' it my way and the best I can hope for is to die in my sleep. kudos to Frank & Kenny. Semper Fi…..

If I died in my sleep it'll be one of those situations where the neighbors wondering "what's that smell?".
