Bought this off of Mom

So she could get on Medicaid easier. She purchased it new in 2005 and wanted the sporty S Corolla version

. She gave up her keys in 2021. Went thru it with new belt , hoses , fuel pump and tires and brakes. Car was not worth much even with 55k miles on it. Sure keeps the miles off of my F250.

I bought a 2002 Camry with 30,000 original miles. Find a low mileage Toyota or Honda is a unicorn anymore.

You still have the old Crown Vic Interceptor that you took me and Tools to lunch in?

I'm sure it's long gone. Thanks for the memory.

That Crown Vic was a lot of fun. It gave way to a Malibu that gave way to a Mustang which gave way to a Toyota Camry hybrid. Wife like the Corolla so much she wanted a full size Toyota.

Toyota has been good for us,,

Great car there! My wife and I had a ‘95 Corolla that we drove the wheels off of. 25 years later and we still talk about how we loved that little car.

I’ve got a Chevy, Nissan, and Toyota out in the driveway. All have been good to us. However, there is no comparison as to which is put together better.

On the Toyota, everything fits perfectly and runs quietly.

The Nissan is pretty good, but everything is a bit cheaper, fits together a little looser, and clangs around a bit more.

And, then there is the Chevy. Hahaha! EVERYTHING is loose, it rattles like a box of Legos, and the paint just falls off randomly in flakes the size of your hand. About every week or so, I hand my kids a couple of foam brushes and the Rustoleum and tell them, “Get out there and paint the van!” Funniest part is…. they have been doing it so long that they think that brush-painting the family van is a normal chore for kids. 🤣

Mom quit driving at 84 but kept the keys right by the door in case she had an emergency like the house caught on fire,
