December 7,1941 . 83 years ago Japan attacked Pearl Harbor , throwing the USA into WW2. It brought forth '' the greatest generation'' and citizen solders by the 10's of thousands . Raise a toast to them all, least we forget ,freedom isn't free. It is bought and paid for in blood ,sweat and sacrifice. It is estimated that about 66,000 vets are still with us ,out of some 16.4 millions , May God continue to bless them and us

I'm not making fun of veterans with that. Just that socialist FDR.
My brother was there. RIP Peace Jake Tannahill USN-
Over 2,400 dead. The Arizona and the Oklahoma were both sunk. And some still resent the fact we dropped 2 A bombs.

Quite a day in the history of America.
Let us not ever forget the brave souls that gave all for this country.
my father was 'drafted' in the spring of 1941 for "6 months service". He was discharged Dec. 4 1941……….he said he never unpacked his bags when he got home. He spent the next 5 years in the army, and went to Europe.
