RCrosbyRCrosby Member Posts: 3,808 ✭✭✭
Looking for .22 cal. chamfer kit for cleaning up the forcing cone on .22 revolvers. Buy, rent, borrow or trade?
Thanks,
Rob
p.s. Tried to order one from Brownells. Has been on back order for over a year. Maybe you know of another source?

    Response from PTG:

The work would be out of our expertise.

Larry says to check around with cowboy action shooters.

    Good luck!!!

So, on the Cowboy Action Crowd! ;-)

    Geri,
You made my day.! 4D has it, $30.00 to rent, plus postage. Got one coming my way. The Pietta NEEDS it, and depending on the results I get I may try it on my K-22 and Single Six as well. Will report back on results.
    Thanks again,
    Rob

Wow! 4-D sent the kit same day. Arrived 2 days later. Tried it on my Pietta which Really Needed it. Easy and beautiful so I decided to go ahead and do my old model Single Six And my '46 K-22. Did all 3 in less than 30 minutes. Including shipping both ways it comes to $16.00 a gun. Love it! Thanks again Geri and all who responded.
