NEEDED firing pin for sxs

I have an early model Meriden Firearms sxs 12 gauge that currently has one of the firing pins broken. I am looking for a replacement, does it have to be from the same manufacturer or can I use another brand to make this functional?? Thank you for any help you can provide.
