Chinese Dagger

I know its not gun related so sorry up front.

I need to find a knowledgable person to take a look at what I have . Its a unique small dagger that looks like Chinese but the blade looks Japanese.
Any help will be appreciated.

I know I know I will try to get good quality pictures posted!

    No the blade is curved and very substantial. Obvious damascus 6 1/2 inche blade . the sheath is wrapped in copper (?) and there are silver appliqu?s of male and female figures in sexual positions.
    Very nicely done ,good fit to the sheath
    the only thing showing age is the cap to the hilt which shows mould lines !
    Im still trying to get the pictures up!
