98 mauser stock

looking for 1898 ww2 stock. picked up sporter with original iron I would like to convert back.

    With the Russian M98 reworks that came in several years ago, K98 stocks are fairly common.

    Search 'Mauser stock' on the auction side, and you will find half a dozen of them. Pretty common on fleabay also. Expect to pay between 100 and 250 dollars for a good walnut or laminate K98 stock.

    I have one with all the pieces, i think it came off a czech mauser as I still have the rifle (we made a custom 240 wby with the action).Its undamaged, no wood missing, the only thing not there is the recoil lug which I used for another project I think. $100 shipped lower 48.
