Have a customer with nerve issues in his hands. Looking for a Beretta 86 in 380 for him. Not looking to spend over 500 or so. Thanks

Unfortunately, Beretta's tip-up barrel .380 Model 86s usually carry a fair amount of collector value. I think you'll find it difficult finding one in your mentioned $500 range.

You may want to have your customer try a Ruger LC380 http://www.ruger.com/products/lc380/models.html That pistol was originally designed for the 9mm round, so in .380, recoil-spring tension and recoil itself can be easy on those with weakened hand strength issues. (The locked-breech system of the LC380 will help in giving a more mild recoil impulse than the straight blow-back of the 86.)

Walther's gas-delayed CCP pistols could be something to consider too http://www.waltherarms.com/handguns/ccp/

Also, if your customer has not tried it yet, a different technique, than he may be used to, for operating the slide could be helpful. Have him take a look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSiOq_uvCmg
