I need a good barrel for a 32-20 1873 Rifle. I have one with a sewer pipe for a bore and want a shooter.

    That is what I would do, I've had a couple of nicer old guns relined, they are still "original", and are great shooters.

    +1 And you get modern steel in the bore and chamber that will probably never get shot out with any smokeless 32-20 ammo.
