Want to buy a Colt 1911 A1 manufactured or delivered in 1947 or 1970.

Did you check the serial numbers on all of the Colt 1911A1's on the auction side to determine their year of manufacture?

Yes, I did. On several occasions, I have done advanced searches for title and text using the words "Cola 1911 A1 1947" and "Colt 1911 A1 194*" with no success. The last gave me 16 sale items. None had any connection to the year 1947.
