COLT 1878 REVOLVER PART

Looking for the ROUND, HALF DOLLAR SIZED SIDE PLATE for the COLT 1878 D.A. REVOLVER. Have checked with NUMRICH GPC, JACK FIRST, BOBS, & DIXIE. Does not have to be pretty, just usable, this is a shooter grade revolver original/aftermarket, stripped threads, a dimensional drawing so that I could manufacture one.

If you want to make one yourself, I can remove one from my 78 and get some exact measurements. If you're not in a big hurry I could probably turn one out on the lathe sometime in the next couple of weeks. Your choice.

Thanks for the reply & the generous offers. I am up for either of those options, I am between a rock & a hard place. What kind of Dollars am I looking at for the Lathe time? When finished will you dry test it in your 78?
