...+1...and it is just as "spensive"! Tackle isle, is like trying to walk away from the gun counter...[:D]

Not to mention there is collectable old lures and equipment which is just like collecting old guns...

    +100 to all the above.

If I just had a nickel for every piece of plastic I have, I would be a very rich man[V]

Ain't it funny how that works that way. Get some shells, a lure you don't need and 2 more Mepps #4's that you always need.

...Old wooden Lures are really cool, the original bxs aren't bad either, some really nice old lures & bxs, and nice "prices" on some of them too.

...Have a "kinda" friend, well I'm his ONLY friend, if you knew him, you would know why...but, you know. Anyway a couple of years ago, he went to a garage sale, he loves 'em, bought about 2 doz.
50-60 yr. old lures...in their BXS!!! The old womens husband had died, years, & years ago, they had been his "fishing" lures, not collection. Glass eyes, etc. some really nice stuff!

...I only saw some pics, never told me WHILE he had them, but he had "doubled" his money, got $20 bucks for "some old-timey lures" [:0]...he does not fish, shoot, NOTHING, sits around the house, and goes to garage sales...[xx(] I could have shot him...[:p]

Like guns? It may be worse. Everytime we find a new lure that seems, or at least looks like it will work. we end up buying at least six of them. Two for each of my boys and I. Where we go in Canada there is no resupply available without a one day trip, so if you lose one, you are out of luck, so one and a spare for each of us to keep us going when a Pike cuts one off.. Oh well.
