Most of the time I find myself without a camera, but I do have some pictures. I prefer to put them back, except when my wife's aunt needs one for supper!!!

I know it was luck, dang sure wasn't skill !!
It was just after dark and I was dragging a carolina rig with a zoom super fluke. I think I pulled it through her mouth while she was yawning and just happened to stop it in her mouth. Then she closed her mouth and didn't move. I pulled a little and the line wouldn't move, tugged again lightly, still didn't move. I finally felt a little movement and set the hook!!!! As soon as she was hooked, she started pulling drag. I though oh, oh, what have I here!! Yes, I feel really lucky to have caught that one, probably the biggest I'll ever catch. I did put her back in the water, who knows, I may catch her again one day, and she will be bigger yet!![:)]

    Thanks---Peabo

This is the only one I have a good pic of. I caught it two years ago on a minnow. White Crappie. It weighed just a c-hair less than 3lb. It was released within 2 minutes of this photo.

Thats a nice crappie, Ben. We always used minnows, either tuffies or shiners for crappie. You know that they are some dang good eating too! (the crappie, not the minnows!)

    Thanks---Peabo
