DROUGHT, MAJOR FIRES, LAKES low.........

...man, the tanks, ponds, lakes are really low in all of NE TX.
...If we don't get some much needed rain, there is a lot of hurt headed this way. Fires have burned tens of thousands of acres, everything is like tender.

...The lake at the ranch is down about 6ft. or more. Never, in over 20 yrs. do I remember it being this low. Lot of tanks, that ranchers depend on are dry, if it isn't at least 6-7 ft. deep, and several acres, it's already gone [:(].

Not good for the fishing either, if we don't get rain now, the fish will be forced into smaller & smaller areas...and there goes the oxy in the water. Spring will be messed up too. Glad the big lake is spring fed, but still dn so much...& no rain expected, period...[:(]

...20-30 mile an hr. winds too, gees, the weather just said a chance of a "dry" lightining storm. Great, just what we need, a bunch of lightning to set the dry crap on fire, and no rain with it!...ugghh.
