Hildebrandt Spinners.....

...anybody else use these exspensive little suckers besides me?
...They run from $6.50-$9.00, but they are good, maybe worth the price, I'll tell you why,...IMHO.

...A lot of "cheaper" spinners "look" good, but, the wire their bent from is of a heavier gauge than Hildies. Try this, squeeze a non Hildebrandt spinner together, the wire at the blades, to the hook on the spinner body, now do the same with a Hildie.

...The other brand of spinner will usually be quite stiff,as the wire is a thick gauge. The Hildies use a thinner gauge wire. Now you say, so? Now, picture a bass/fish comming to strike the spinner. So, you say? Well if the wire is stiff/heavy gauge, the fish may just "knock" the spinner, can't get the stiff wire squeezed,...to get hooked. While the Hildebrandt being made of a thinner gauge wire, he clamps on the spinner, wire squeezes together, BAM, set the hook, and the fun begins...[;)]
