What are your picks for your all-time top 3 ARTIFICIAL LURES that you have caught most of your fish with[?]List colors/finish also if ya want!?!
here's mine;
1; Double-jointed Rapala minnow/ blue/white black/silver
2; Arbogast Dorado/ various colors...{No longer made}
3; Rooster-Tails/ various colors...

Living in Ohio for most of my life and fishing mostly farm-ponds,creeks,rivers,small lakes, these 3 have caught more fish for me than any other lures...

Can ya tell I'm bored?

    1.Rapala original floater/ perch color
    2. Soft bait worms w/ lime green jig
    3.beatle spin / yellow

    I caught my first muskie on a yellow beatle spin. Is that normal or very common.

    The Panther Martin in black with yellow spots and the bronze blade works anywhere in any lake or river, just size it for your quarry.
    The Brown Rooster Tail Spinner with brown skirt and bronze blade works on one creek I know like nothing else for steelhead, I've never had much luck with it anywhere else but on that creek........
    I've used kwikfish with some success for trout on other rivers when pulled behind a drift boat but........
    For Ling cod and any Rock cod, A Kalins Scampi tail Jig 9" tail with a 6oz lead jig, it flat knocks em, you need the root beer colored one with the gold flake, after that boys and girls take your pick, those are mine.

    Wow Bloviator!! Thanks for remembering! I've been enjoying some GREAT hotdogs I got back from the butcher and will be eating alot of venison this year! The head is at the taxidermist and I'm guessing I'll see it back in a year or so. I'd be happy to post the pics when it's done. Thanks for remembering!! I've been admiring your lures. Do you make any bigger ones like Muskie surface baits? It's awful exciting to have a 45-50 inch Muskie attack a surface bait at dusk.......Ed

    gearheaddad, the two above are about 5" long. How long, what # (size) hooks, and what colors work best? If it's dusk into dark. the darker colors can be seen by all fish better...blacks, greens..as the basic color
