It's about that time of year. The Silverkings (Tarpon) will be running down there in about 3 or 4 weeks. If you ever get the chance to fish the legendary pass in the spring, you will never forget it. Imagine hooking up with 100-150 leaping fish, drinking beer and checking out girls in bikinis. It's like a big party out there with lots of boats usually involved in tournaments. I would recommend finding a guide and let him worry about steering the boat.

    ...we have some good Tarpon fishing way S. coast, always wanted to catch one of them suckers since I saw a 100+ pounder tail walk about 20ft. on the end of a guys line. Man the gills clattering sounded like horses going down the street, awesome fish...[;)]
