...Finished baits I made, for some friends, thought I'd share
...these are completely hand made from sart to finish. Since they are hand done, no two are identicle. They are made from balsa wood,any/all of the bucktails are real squirel tail, not synthetic.
Best of all...thay produce fish. These are all Sold
...when I make up another batch, I'll post 'em.

I'll get a couple of the guys around here to post/attest to their quality. May be a while before I tackle anymore [:D] May geta lathe and do mostly "chugger" and "lucky 13" body styles...as the hand carving really takes a lot of time, thanks for the compliment yota. Been making my own, and fishing my own for many years...and they do work! Even though I bulk up the balsa, only hardwood will hold up to the teeth on muskie or pike, but these will take a beating from a LOT of bass, no worse for the encounter...just some minor scratches...thanks again...[;)]
Are you really going to get them pretty lures wet by putting em in the water ??????
The ones I got from him (the 4 on the bottom) are to nice to do that to, so I'm just going to look at em inside the house where it's not so wet...[:D]
I don't have time to put em in the water anyway, cause I'm to busy carving on wood, and making it shiney like this...
Thanks for the complement, but I did that one for myself. About the only time I can be talked into doing one for someone else is if it 's going to be for a XP-100 rear grip.
Those I absolutely love to work on, and would do one for about any one that asked as long as it was during the winters up here. Summer time is going to be taken up with fishing, and killing groundhogs with the 6br that will set in that Blue rifle stock..
Here's a rear grip blue laminate for a XP-100.....before n after....
...and one term for throwing baits,....is called "plugging"...[:D]
... thank you both for the compliments on the baits, I appreciate it very much. For everybody that don't know these guys, their fine men, and both gun-nuts [:D] and I am proud to call them both fiends...[;)]
Dew ewe have inny ID why that Bloviator called us old guys (fiends)...
Seams uncalled for ifin ya axed me [:D]
