Way off Base Question

This has nothing to do with guns, but of antique fishing rods. Looking at an old but new South Bend Bamboo Fly Rod rated for HEH weight line. My question is, what does HEH compare too in todays fly lines. My guess is a 6 wgt., but don't really know. Thanks for any info that may pertain to this off the wall question.

    hadjii,

The fly rod you speak of was designed for braided silk line.

The "HEH" designates a double taper line. (Fly line is rated as to diameter rather than strength)

    HEH line has .025 ends & a .040 center. (about HD5)

For letter to inch conversion, "A" is .060 & each letter decreases
    by .005 to "K" being .010
