I bought a pound of whole crawfish from the local grocery a while ago with the intent of putting them in gumbo. Never happened, a real pain to peel. My brother and I are heading up to the lake tomorrow and was thinking about using them. I thought about soaking them in a real heavy salt/brine solution. I know fish love salty bait and thought the Walleye and Bass would eat the crap out of them.

My question is....
Will the salty solution soften them up so they won't stay on the hook?
Half of the lives they tell about me aren't true.
