Here is a picture of some of my favorite older lures. These were made by the CA Clark Company of Springfield, MO. This company went out of business in 1959, so their baits are getting harder to find every day!! Note the signature "water keel" on some of the lures. This was designed to make the lure run true even in the current of a stream or river.
Also note that several of the lures in the bottom of the display case only have a "dent" for an eye. This denotes the older models. Early collectors say that the original dents were made with a ball peen hammer!
I'm always looking to buy or trade for more of these lures. Let me know what you might have.
